Synergies between peacebuilding and democratization; the role of ex-combatants in politics; conditioning factors of political reintegration of ex-combatants; policy feedback and the creation of politics as a result of policy design/implementation, such as DDR; Liberia, Sierra Leone and Africa; Colombia, political sociology; methodology; focus groups; life history interviews.
