Exchange Studies at the Department of Government

We offer a wide range of courses in politics and development studies. Our teachers and researchers publish extensively and broadly for both international and Swedish audiences.
Welcome
We are pleased to acknowledge your interest in our exchange programme. Please contact the international office at your home department/university to make sure you are entitled to apply for an exchange.
Deadline
To guarantee access to the programme, you must be nominated by 15 April to commence studies in the autumn semester, or by 15 October to commence studies in the spring semester.
Courses
Visiting students normally select courses at the department where they are exchange students. However, courses from other departments can be selected.
Full time studies
Full time students are expected to take just one course at a time. Students studying full time spend approximately 8 hours per week in class, mainly in the form of lectures or seminars, with the rest of the time dedicated to comprehensive individual studies or group work.
